ORGANIZATIONS AND ACTIVITIES OF OKLAHOMA ACADEMIC LIBRARIES

This is the interactive website of OCALD, affiliated with the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. Academic library directors across the state established the Oklahoma Council of Library Directors in 1988 in an effort to better coordinate networking efforts and other collaborative projects. Additional charges given by the State Regents have expanded OCALD's role in higher education. In search for a way to coordinate the various academic library groups and websites in Oklahoma, the OCALD organization has developed a website that merges all academic library efforts into one website. In this manner, we can more effectively coordinate the academic library services throughout the state of Oklahoma. This is an interactive website that encourages participation by all academic library groups in the state of Oklahoma. Online Zoho and Wiki programs are used for collaborative activities.
